Transparency & impact
Many brands talk about sustainability. We believe you should also be able to explain what you mean by it.
That is why we believe transparency is important. Not as a marketing term, but as a way to clarify where clothing comes from, how it is made, and why we make certain choices.
For Blue Blood, transparency means being as clear as possible about materials, production, certifications, and areas for improvement.
Why transparency is important
If you want to buy conscious clothing, you want to know what you are choosing.
You want to be able to understand:
- what material has been used
- whether a claim is demonstrable
- who made the product
- which certifications apply
- how a brand handles responsibility
Without this information, sustainability remains too vague. That is why we believe that good fashion must also provide clear information. Want to know more about quality marks? See certifications explained.
What we show
We are working towards a webshop where you can better understand what is behind an item, per product and per theme.
Think of information about:
- material composition
- certifications used
- production partners
- packaging
- logistical choices
Not to make it complicated, but to help you make better choices. These choices are directly related to our selection criteria and production & factories.
Impact goes beyond one label
A certification can say a lot, but never everything.
That is why we always look at the whole picture. A product is not only assessed on one quality mark, but on several components. For example, quality, lifespan, origin, transparency, and production conditions.
This way, we prevent sustainability from being reduced to a single logo. You can read more about this on materials.
Always developing
We do not believe in perfection. But we do believe in improvement.
Sustainability requires choices that are becoming increasingly sharp. That is why we continue to learn, test, and refine. Where we are already making clear progress, we show it. Where there is still work to be done, we want to be honest about it.
This is how we build long-term trust.
